And when the big day comes and you arrive, we're there again. We start with airport pick-up, get you into the home of your choice, and work with you until the last book is on the right shelf. Then we help you settle in. Paper work, registrations, licenses, introductions, whatever it takes to help you start life in Japan. Happily and comfortably.

And when you're ready to depart, we're there again with packing and paperwork and whatever else you need.

Pre-decision

Before arriving

  • Receive instructions from service holder
  • Arrange meetings with international schools
  • Arrange meetings with real estate companies, furniture companies and other necessary vendors for the house-hunting trip
  • Select housing to meet your budget and conditions
  • Make itinerary
  • Forward necessary information to you
  • Arrange temporary accommodation/rental furniture, if required
  • Provide "Orientation Handbook", a guidebook to read before moving to Japan, at pre-arrival orientation

Settling in

For arrival and stay during
house-hunting

  • Airport greeting and transfer to hotel/temporary accommodations
  • Explain and adjust itinerary as needed
  • Provide "Information Package", an overall guide to living and housing in Japan
  • Accompany to municipal offices and assist official registrations
  • Accompany to banks and assist in opening bank accounts
  • Area tour of communities, shopping areas, recreational and medical facilities, etc.
  • Arrange school visits and meetings with admissions office
  • Accompany to potential housing locations
  • Negotiate rent and conditions through real estate companies
  • Complete lease contract
  • Accompany to furniture showrooms and assist in furniture selection
  • Negotiate furniture leasing fee
