When your assignment is complete and you are ready to leave Japan, whether it is returning to your home country or transferring to another location, there are just as many things that need to be taken care of.

Before Leaving Japan

  • Complete preparations, and accompany on final walk-through inspection
  • Manage lease termination/early termination
  • Prepare and accompany on final walk-through inspection of current housing and payment for damage etc., if any
  • Provide directions or assistance on cancellation of utilities, telephone lines, cable, arrange for mail forwarding, etc.
  • Provide guidance on sale of car and home appliances
  • Recover security deposit from landlord
